- NCAA. Deion Sanders, at the center of controversy: Former NFL star and two-time Super Bowl champion goes all in on him
- NCAA. Deion Sanders goes 1-on-1 with one of his former wide receivers at Colorado and calls him out for being "soft"
Deion "Coach Prime" Sanders is a fashion icon that takes his swag everywhere, whether is on the football field coaching the Colorado Buffaloes or in his regular TV appearances.
The NFL Hall of Famer displayed his talent as a cornerback, return specialist and occasionallly as a wide receiver during 14 seasons for five teams: Atlanta Falcons, San Francisco 49ers, Dallas Cowboys, Washington Redskins, and Baltimore Ravens.
He also became the NFL Draft's first fashion icon in 1989 by accessorizing a black and white track suit with loads of gold jewelry. His impact not only in professional sports but on popular culture overall, changed the way the world looked at football players.
Shedeur Sanders criticizes his father for his fashion style
Deion "Prime Time" Sanders posted a video on Instagram of a photoshoot as part of a campaing for his Well Off Forever clothing company. The NFL legend is talking to fashion stylist Casey Trudeau, who has worked with industry giants, top name celebrities, and prominent publications.
Sanders receives a phone call from his youngest son, Shedeur Sanders - who's getting ready for the 2025 NFL Draft and who could be the first quarterback selected at the event -, who asks about a zip up that he can wear for an event.
Trudeau asks Shedeur what kind of zip up he wants and the former Colorado Buffaloes superstar says that he wants something that's "high quality." The fashion stylist replies that she would look for something that satisfies the young star. "Nothing but the best for you, I get it. Just like nothing but the best for your dad, I got you." she added.
"Nah, nah, if you think he's like that (Deion Sanders) then nah." Shedeur responds. "The stuff that I pull for him? Come on now. Now you're starting to step into my field, so careful." Casey states. "It doesn't matter, your litte head is somewhere else, dawg." Deion added, nodding his head at his youngest son.
Will Shedeur be the first QB selected in the NFL Draft?
Shedeur Sanders' main focus is to be the first quarterback selected at the 2025 NFL Draft. According to scouts, he's seen mixed results under an intensely bright spotlight, but there are no signs his confidence has ever wavered.
A recent NFL Mock Draft has Shedeur going to the New York Giants with the third pick overall. "Sanders might not be the biggest, strongest or fastest er, but he throws with anticipation from the pocket and can test defenses with his feet when facing man coverage. The Giants have lacked a true leader at the quarterback position for years; Sanders works to make his teammates better and knows what it means to play under the spotlight." an NFL report states.
Teams viewed him as a quarterback that possesses a baseline of poise, savvy and accuracy, traits that are integral in becoming an NFL starter. "He's slow-twitch with standard arm talent and a longer release, but he worked around those limitations with anticipation and accuracy." the insider report says.
