Football fans across the United States have spoken, and the results are in. USA Today recently asked its readers to vote for the top 10 NFL stadiums, and the winner is none other than Lumen Field, home of the Seattle Seahawks.

According to the publication, Lumen Field is "truly a locals' stadium" and is renowned for its ionate fans, known as "The 12s." The stadium boasts a selection of local craft beer, Starbucks coffee, and Pacific Northwest-centric food, making it a must-visit destination for any football fan.

The rest of the top 10 list includes:

  • GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium (Kansas City Chiefs)
  • M&T Bank Stadium (Baltimore Ravens)
  • Allegiant Stadium (Las Vegas Raiders)
  • Raymond James Stadium (Tampa Bay Buccaneers)
  • Acrisure Stadium (Pittsburgh Steelers)
  • Lucas Oil Stadium (Indianapolis Colts)
  • U.S. Bank Stadium (Minnesota Vikings)
  • Lambeau Field (Green Bay Packers)
  • SoFi Stadium (Los Angeles Rams and Chargers)

Interestingly, one notable omission from the list is AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys, which has long been regarded as one of America's best sporting venues.

Seahawks' stadium provides the team with a massive advantage

Lumen Field, also known as "The 12th Man," is famous for its crowd noise, which has proven to be a massive advantage for the Seahawks over the years. In fact, in a December 2013 home game against the New Orleans Saints, Seattle fans set the record for the loudest crowd noise at 137.6 decibels.

While Lumen Field may be the current champion, it's worth noting that Kansas City Chiefs fans broke the record for loudest crowd noise just nine months later with an ear-splitting sound of 142.2 decibels during a Monday night game against the New England Patriots.

Overall, it's clear that NFL stadiums are more than just places to watch football games - they're destinations in their own right, offering unique experiences and a chance to connect with fellow fans. As USA Today's list shows, each stadium has its own character and charm, making it worth visiting for any football enthusiast.
