- Bill Belichick uses roast of Tom Brady to laugh at him: 'He was so far up Alex Guerrero's a**'
- Caitlin Clark and Peyton Manning have a lot in common according to fans
Peyton Manning made a surprise appearance at Tom Brady's roast event on Sunday night, to the delight of many in a show that included Bill Belichick.
In his appearance on the podium, he simply revealed something that was already known by the majority and reaffirmed in an appearance at the Pat McAfee Podcast. Manning confirmed that former Patriots head coach Bill Belichick will appear on ESPN's popular ManningCast this season.
"For those who don't know, Coach Belichick will be working with Eli and I a little bit on Monday Night Football this season," Manning mentioned. "I have to tell you, it will be fantastic. Eli and I are super excited. And it will give Coach Belichick something he hasn't had in a long time: the opportunity to be around quarterbacks he respects," alluding to the goal of the event: to criticize Brady.
At the moment, it's not entirely clear how many weeks Belichick's appearances will entail. The program usually airs around 10 times per season; however, it is believed that the legendary head coach could appear in every game early in the first quarter and stick around for a few games.
Peyton has part of Bradys roast
Manning had other notable lines when he took the podium this part Sunday.
"It's great to be here with a group of people, sitting and talking bad about Tom Brady. The last time Brady had to wait so long to get on stage was in the 2000 NFL Draft," referring to the fact that Brady was only taken by the Patriots until the sixth round, with the 199th overall pick.
Everyone had a laugh and even Brady took a shot at Peyton when he said that he will always be living in his shadow but it was all fun and games, another good story in a chapter of this NFL rivalry.
