Dallas Cowboys fans suffered through another incredible loss on Monday Night Football, with most of them having the same idea once the clock hit zero.

America's Team were tied 20-20 late in the fourth quarter against the Cincinnati Bengals. Dallas were poised to get the ball back as the Bengals lined up to punt the ball with two minutes left.

The home fans roared when the Cowboys managed to black the punt, which should have given them great field position and a chance to win the game. Instead, defensive back Amani Oruwariye made a crucial mistake and touched the ball after it was blocked.

While it would have been Cowboys ball if he just avoided the ball, he touched it and made it live, with the Bengals recovering it.

A few plays after that Joe Burrow found Ja'Marr Chase, who scampered into the end zone on a 40-yard play. It proved to be the winning touchdown with the Bengals claiming a 27-20 and dealing a huge blow to the Cowboys' already slim playoff hopes.

Cowboys fans want Oruwariye gone

After the game Cowboys fans on social media couldn't believe what they had seen and called for the team to release the 28-year-old Oruwariye from the team.

"Amani Oruwariye, that's enough to get cut. What the [expletive] are you doing?," wrote one fan.

Another wrote: "Amani Oruwariye should be cut just off principal! I'm not even a Cowboys fan but damn he ruined a good game!"

A third fan added: "If I'm Jerry Jones, I'm cutting Amani Oruwariye before he even gets to the locker room. Sorry, but there's no excuse for that."

Another fan wrote: "Oruwiye, who was just activated today, is getting cut tomorrow at 7 am."

The loss means the Cowboys not sit at 5-8, which is only good enough for 13th spot in the NFC. They will try to pick up the pieces when they travel to take on the Carolina Panthers on Sunday.
