Dallas Cowboys should forget Micah Parsons and go all-in on offense in 2025 NFL Draft

While the Dallas Cowboys attempt to retain one of their best assets, Micah Parsons, the sea of possibilities they face just days before the start of the NFL Draft is immense. However, one analyst recommends that Jerry Jones go 'all-in' on offense.

Despite the team having other immediate needs, ESPN analyst Field Yates suggests breaking all expectations by focusing on offensive players.

All-In on Offense for the Dallas Cowboys

In his latest Mock Draft, Yates predicts that the team will select Arizona wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan. Although he has "somewhat pedestrian speed," the analyst says he will be an absolute nightmare for any 1-on-1 coverage thanks to his 6-foot-4, 219-pound frame.

McMillan comes off setting a University of Arizona record with 3,423 career receiving yards and would give the Lone Star team a top-tier receiver alongside CeeDee Lamb. While many say they'll go for a running back in the first round, Yates predicts they'll wait until the second day and select Ohio State's TreVeyon Henderson with the No. 44 pick.

The need for a running back comes after Rico Dowdle's departure. The team has already signed two veterans, Javonte Williams and Miles Sanders, but they could still draft a young running back.

Yates writes that Henderson 'is an electrifying player both as a runner and a receiver' and praises his 'open-field speed.' Henderson amassed over 3,700 rushing yards and 800 receiving yards in his four years in Columbus, capping his career with a national championship in January. There's no doubt he could be a great addition to the team.
