Well, obviously we already knew that."

The goal is to protect Dak Prescott

During a press conference last Saturday, after selecting Alabama guard Tyler Booker with the 12th overall pick on the first day of the NFL Draft, executive vice president of personnel Stephen Jones felt they were beginning a path to surround Dak Prescott

"We want to protect the most expensive player in the league and complement (receiver) CeeDee (Lamb) and what we're doing with him. I think all of that helps solidify everything," said Stephen Jones.

While Jerry Jones took stock of Dallas' recent process and said he was optimistic about the roster they are forming.

"The current makeup of the team and the players we have right now, this is a really good way to go after a Super Bowl," Jerry Jones said
