The recent boxing match between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul at AT&T Stadium in Arlington is still making waves, but not for the reasons the fighters would have hoped. Despite the event being several days ago, criticism is still swirling around their lackluster performance in the ring.

The Houston Texans' social media team didn't miss the chance to have a little fun at the expense of the boxing match, subtly referencing it in a post celebrating the team's victory. The post didn't mention names, but it was definitely a nod to the underwhelming performance of the two boxers.

The Texans wasted no time in poking fun at the Tyson-Paul match after their 34-10 win over the Dallas Cowboys on the same field. They took to social media with a cheeky comment, "Finally a real fight in Arlington this weekend," clearly poking fun at the much-criticized boxing showdown.

Even though the post didn't call out Tyson or Paul directly, it was pretty obvious to fans and critics what they were referring to. The boxing match, which ended with Jake Paul winning by unanimous decision, had been widely slammed for lacking the excitement and energy that Tyson was known for in his prime. The 58-year-old veteran threw only 97 punches and landed just 18 across eight rounds, a far cry from his explosive power in the past. On the other hand, Paul had a more active performance, landing 78 of 278 punches.

The Texans' jab wasn't the only instance of teasing. During ESPN's "ManningCast" broadcast, Peyton Manning also took a sly dig at the boxing match while commenting on an altercation-filled NFL game. It's hard not to draw comparisons between the heated exchanges on the football field and the lackluster energy in the boxing ring.

The problem is that the Texans wanted to taunt the Cowboys by saying there would finally be a real battle at AT&T Stadium...but they ended up giving the home team another beating, so there was no real battle in Jerryworld either.
