Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce isn't one to shy away from playful banter, especially when it comes to his brother, Jason Kelce. But ahead of Super Bowl 2025, Travis delivered an unexpected message that left Eagles fans raising their eyebrows.

During an appearance on They Call It Late Night with Jason Kelce, the Chiefs star was asked if he had any words for Eagles fans before the highly anticipated showdown between the two teams-marking their second Super Bowl clash in three seasons. Without missing a beat, Travis grinned and said, "Go Birds, baby."

Jason, now retired and hosting the ESPN talk show, immediately shot back, "You don't mean that," to which Travis laughed, "I'm a Jason Kelce fanatic, dude. I love that guy, man. I still got all the gang green from your guys' Super Bowls and your run in Philly. I still got some Philly pride, man. I'm wishing the best for those guys, but go birds."

Sibling rivalry meets Super Bowl history

This isn't the first time the Kelce brothers have been at the heart of Super Bowl buzz. Back in 2023, when the Chiefs and Eagles faced off, the game was famously dubbed the "Kelce Bowl." Their mother, Donna Kelce, even wore a split jersey to both sons. The Chiefs narrowly won that matchup, with Travis playing a key role, racking up six catches, 81 yards, and a touchdown.

While Travis can joke about cheering for the Eagles, Jason's loyalty runs deep. Despite his retirement, Jason made it clear during an episode of the New Heights podcast that his heart remains with Philadelphia. "I will always be an Eagle," he said. "I'll root for Travis to have a good game, of course, 'cause he's my brother, but nah, I'll definitely be cheering on the Eagles."

As Super Bowl 2025 approaches, one thing is clear: the Kelce brothers' bond is unbreakable, but when it comes to football, their rivalry is as entertaining as ever.
