After the Kansas City Chiefs' disappointing Super Bowl loss, Brittany Mahomes has discovered a way to relax and recharge as the 29-year-old mother of three shared a glimpse of her sun-soaked personal getaway on social media.
Brittany seems to have firmly but the 40-22 beating at the hands of the Philadelphia Eagles behind her by showing herself basking in the heat in the peaceful outdoors, surrounded by bright, clear skies, enjoying a moment of tranquility.
"The happiest in the Sun," Mahomes wrote in a Boomerang video of herself lounging outside via Instagram, adding a cool sunglasses emoji to her post.
Sporting a soft pink tank top, pale pink nails, and light pink translucent shades, she maintained a serene vibe in every detail as she makes sure her self-care time was completed with matte pink lip to complete her relaxed look.
Brittany praised after tough Chiefs season
The Chiefs' defeat left thousands of fans and Brittany's husband, quarterback Patrick Mahomes, feeling disappointed as they missed out on securing a historic threepeat in New Orleans on Sunday, February 9.
And although she never took to the field, Brittany's NFL Playoffs was not without her own stresses as she welcomed her third child, daughter Golden Raye Mahomes, in January, just before the Chiefs faced the Houston Texans.
Reflecting on their battles throughout the past five months, the mother shared a heartfelt message from her close friend, pediatric sleep consultant Jenna Artis as she praised the young parents for making their family work.
Artis praised Patrick for being "a standout football player" and "redefining what fatherhood looks like" despite his demanding career and she also highlighted Brittany's role as a mother, calling her the "glue" that holds the family together.
"The way you juggle it all with grace, little sleep, selflessness," Artis said via social media. "And love is truly inspiring.
"You're an amazing mom, a wonderful human, and a friend anyone would be lucky to have."
