Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce found himself the butt of a playful prank on the latest episode of the New Heights podcast, when his brother and co-host Jason Kelce slyly got him to say a number with personal significance: 13, famously known as girlfriend Taylor Swift's lucky number.

The exchange occurred during their May 14 episode, which featured special guests Ryan Fitzpatrick and Andrew Whitworth - both former NFL stars and Walter Payton Man of the Year recipients.

"Two NFL legends, Walter Payton Man of the Year, and most teams played on in a career," Jason began.

"They're both here today."

As the brothers discussed Fitzpatrick's career, Jason asked a producer a question off-camera.

"How many teams, Brandon? Do you know? I think 13."

Without missing a beat, Travis added a response.

"It's a lucky number."

The moment took a humorous turn when it was revealed Fitzpatrick had actually only played for nine teams, still an NFL record - but short of the misleading guess.

"That's it?" Jason replied.

"Oh, it felt like more. Honestly, I thought it was more."

Travis, realizing what had just happened, groaned.

"Yeah. He tricked me into saying 13."

Jason proudly itted the trick.

"That's why I'm a tricky guy."

The moment came during a busy stretch for the Kelce brothers, who made a t appearance at the Amazon MGM Studios Upfront this week. Both appeared noticeably slimmer, with each revealing they've lost around 25 pounds in recent months.

For Travis, the weight loss is part of a larger goal: getting in top shape for his 13th NFL season - an ironic twist, given the number's spotlight earlier in the podcast.

Kelce had been expected to retire after the Superbowl defeat to the Philadelphia Eagles, yet he has avoided ing his older brother in retirement, electing to play another campaign with the Kansas City Chiefs.

It makes sense, given he would once again be in a prime position to win another championship. For as long as Patrick Mahomes is healthy, the Chiefs are a contender, and that can be an incredibly difficult thing to give up.
