Tom Brady has a lot of work ahead of him with the Las Vegas Raiders. After the disastrous 2024 season, the team has to go back to square one, and that means finding a new quarterback to bring stability to the offense. The chosen one? One of the best prospects for the 2025 NFL Draft.

Former Raiders head coach Antonio Pierce had a rough year. He initially put veteran Jimmy Garoppolo under center, then tried youngster Aidan O'Connell, and finally brought in Gardner Minshew. In the end, none of them worked out, leaving Pierce out of a job and the team with a 4-13 record.

As soon as he ed the team, new coach Pete Carroll promised that they would lean on Brady as much as possible "for his insights, because nobody has the insights that he has." According to one veteran NFL scout, those "insights" could lead the team to snatch up the best quarterback in the Class of 2025, Jaxson Dart.

Nobody can hold a candle to Dart

In a recent post on X (formerly Twitter), the NFL Rookie Watch claimed that Dart "won't make it past" the first seven rounds of the draft. Considering that Brady's Raiders have the sixth pick, it's quite possible that the former Ole Miss star has a spot reserved in Las Vegas.

According to the insider, "To be honest, he has the potential to be the best NFL QB in this class." That's saying a lot, considering that this class also includes Shedeur Sanders, Cam Ward, Jalen Milroe, and Quinn Ewers.

However, when it comes to numbers, Dart outperformed the entire class last season. The Rebels' prodigy threw for 4,279 yards on 276 of 398 es, 29 of them for touchdowns, with just six interceptions. With this performance, Pro Football Focus gave him a er grade of 91.9, the highest in this draft.

Will the Raiders get there in time to snatch Dart?

However, the Raiders have a problem. "There's just too many QB-needy teams," the insider warned NFL Rookie Watch. The Tennessee Titans, Cleveland Browns, New York Giants, and now even the New York Jets are gearing up to land the best arms in the 2025 draft and will exhaust all their resources to do so.

If Brady and Carroll want to keep Dart, they'll have to move quickly or risk being left holding the bag as the best quarterback in this class leaves for a team in a better position.
