There was a bizarre moment during the Miami Dolphins' game against the New York Giants as Tyreek Hill's celebration with his mother was interrupted.
In the third quarter, Hill converted a 69-yard touchdown with an impressive catch, running back to the end zone to give the ball to his mom.
What nobody was expecting was that a fan in the row in front caught the to Hill's mom.
He was unaware of who was behind him and only gave it up after several fans explained.
The fan reacts
The Dolphins caught the moment on camera as Hill surprised the fan at a restaurant on Thursday.
"You made my day that day," the fan said in the video.
"I didn't know your mom was behind us. If I would have known, I would have stepped aside.
"I said, 'Man, the greatest football player in the NFL is jumping up right here and going to give a ball' and I said, 'I'm going to jump up there.'"
Hill's career
Tyreek Hill was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs in the fifth round of the 2016 NFL Draft and since then has quickly become one of the most dynamic and explosive players in the NFL.
Hill has been selected to the Pro Bowl in each of his seven seasons in the league and won Super Bowl LIV with the Chiefs in 2020 and was named to the NFL 2010s All-Decade Team as a punt returner.
Hill has amassed 634 catches for 8,991 yards and 81 touchdowns in his career.
He is one of the most feared playmakers in the league, and he is sure to be a key player for the Dolphins for many years to come.
