The NFL season is just over a month away, with training camps in full swing and the first preseason game already in the books. The Chicago Bears kicked off the action with a 21-17 victory over the Houston Texans in the Pro Football Hall of Fame game. Now, over 300 games remain, spanning preseason, regular season, and playoffs, all leading up to Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans.

NFL's Most Expensive "Cheetah"

After back-to-back seasons with over 1,700 yards and 119 receptions each, Tyreek Hill has solidified his position as one of the NFL's elite players. Recently voted the No. 1 player in the NFL Top 100 by his peers, Hill has earned a lucrative contract extension with the Miami Dolphins. The deal is a three-year, $90 million extension, with $65 million guaranteed. Including the remaining year on his current contract, Hill's fully guaranteed money totals an unprecedented $106.5 million, the most ever for any receiver.

Dolphins Build for the near Future

Originally a 5th-round pick by the Kansas City Chiefs in 2016, Tyreek Hill quickly rose to prominence, winning a Super Bowl with the Chiefs and forming a dynamic partnership with Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce. However, a blockbuster trade in 2022 sent Hill to the Dolphins in exchange for five draft picks. Since arriving in Miami, Hill has continued to excel, forming a formidable trio with quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and fellow receiver Jaylen Waddle.

Under the guidance of young head coach Mike McDaniel, the Dolphins are positioning themselves for a potential Super Bowl run in the coming years. The team is focused on maintaining the core of their high-powered offense, which was on full display last season when they scored 70 points against the Broncos-the most points in a game since 1966. Competing in the AFC, which is stacked with young quarterbacks and formidable teams like the Chiefs, Ravens or Benglas the Dolphins are gearing up for a challenging yet promising future.

While the Dolphins have been dominant in the regular season over the past two years, injuries have hindered their playoff success. However, with Hill's record-breaking contract and the continued development of their roster, Miami is aiming to translate regular season dominance into postseason victories. The NFL season will be a crucial test for the Dolphins as they strive to make their mark in a fiercely competitive league.
