- NFL. With the NFL schedule complete, Dallas Cowboys would make a major trade for Tyler Booker and Donovan Ezeiruaku
The NFL shared its official schedule for the 2025 season and those who did not come out very favorably were the New York Giants.
Big Blue will begin its season on September 7 traveling to the home of the Washington Commanders. Under the guidance of Dan Quinn, the team has generated high expectations and it is not ruled out that they will aim high in the playoffs. The last time they met was on November 3 where the Giants lost 22-27.
In week 2, they will face the Dallas Cowboys in what will be an acid test for the team since they have not beaten them since 2021.
In Week 3, they will face the Super Bowl runners-up, Kansas City Chiefs and the reigning champions, Philadelphia Eagles, in Week 6.
Given the complexity of their schedule, insider Connor Hughes spoke about it and mentioned that it will be a "deadly matchup": "When you look at what awaits this team in 2025 with the schedule officially released. Oh my, Oh my. Because this is a murderous row...specifically with those first nine games".
The continuity of Brian Daboll
Considering that they closed the previous season with a meager 3-14 record, many fans thought that the coach should pay the price. However, Brian Daboll has been given a second chance and will try to achieve better results.
"It is juggernaut after juggernaut....I genuinely believe that (co-owner) John Mara's patience with Brian Daboll is truly going to be tested to begin this season. I don't see how many wins they have in these first two months," said Connor.
Rivals of such caliber are shaky for the team and for Daboll himself, who must prove his worth with the Giants if he is not to jeopardize his job or the team. And while it may be seen as a big challenge, it is also an opportunity for the Giants to rewrite their history and prove they can compete against any team.
