- Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Tom Brady: how much more can his heart take? Fury, sadness, joy in another emotional rollercoaster on MNF
In addition to making a spectacular comeback in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' 17-16 win over the New Orleans Saintson Monday Night Football, another thing Tom Brady did was set the social media on fire after meeting Time magazine's Athlete of the Year Aaron Judge.
Judge visited the Bucs at Raymond James Stadium and in the tunnel had an effusive greeting and a brief chat with Brady that was caught on camera.
Judge wore Bucs wide receiver Mike Evans' No. 13 jersey in response to the he gave him when he broke Roger Maris' home run record during the recently completed MLB regular season.
Brady gave him "his best pitch."
While Judge waits to see different offers from other teams, he had a night off that he took advantage of to go to Tampa and say hello to Brady, who on his Twitter posted a short clip of the moment they meet, and wrote: "I gave him my best pitch! Thanks for coming out, @thejudge44." You can even hear in the video how, in jest, Brady jokingly tells Judge to go play for the Bucs as a tight end.
What Judge did do was witness Brady's amazing comeback against the Saints, who threw two touchdown es in the final three minutes of the game to pull out the win.
Judge could decide his future soon
After finishing the season with the New York Yankees, Judge became a free agent and is negotiating with different teams to see if he will return to the Big Apple or move on.
So far the most viable option is for him to go to the San Francisco Giants, but officially there is nothing yet and everything is still rumors related to the most valued MLB free agent of the moment.
