Apple Music has announced the long-awaited Replay 2024 experience, with more information and features, which is now available on Apple Music. Artists can now also post and share their year-end information, and access Replay on Apple Music for artists
In addition, Apple Music has released its end-of-2024 charts, which rank songs by plays on Apple Music, Shazam searches, radio airplay, lyric queries and more. Kendrick Lamar's 'Not Like Us' is the most listened to track on Apple Music worldwide; Benson Boone's 'Beautiful Things' has been the most searched song on Shazam this year; and Dua Lipa's 'Houdini' has topped radio airplay worldwide.
Replay, your personal soundtrack
Starting today, Apple Music s around the world can access a full retrospective of their musical year through the songs, artists and albums they listened to most in 2024. This time, they can access the experience directly from the app, discover more information about their listening and share videos of their personal summary with the highlights.
From an iPhone with iOS 18.1 or later, you can access the Replay 2024 experience directly from the Home, New and Search tabs in the Apple Music app. With an earlier version of iOS, you can also enjoy this service via replay.music.apple.com on mobile or desktop devices. All Replay information is optimised to be shared with friends and family, on social networks or any messaging platform
The extended listening information available in Replay 2024 includes:
- Top 100, 500 and 1,000 listeners: The Top 100 list from previous years has been expanded and you can now see if you made it into the Top 500 and Top 1,000 listeners of an artist or genre.
- Listening streaks: You can now find out the longest series of consecutive days listening to Apple Music of the year.
- Replay by month: Relive the year with your number one songs, artists and albums from each month of 2024.
- Number 1 artist streak: based on the most listened to music each month, it is now possible to discover if you are a loyal fan with this metric, available if you have had an artist as number 1 of the month several times in a row.
- First played date: you can see the date when the number 1 song, artist and album of this year was first heard.
s can listen to all their most-played songs of 2024 with the Replay 2024 mix. They can also rediscover their favorite tracks from all their years of subscribing to Apple Music, as well as relive their favorite content from recent months and years with the Replay information archive.
New Replay for Artists
New this year, artists can now celebrate their musical year with Replay from their Apple Music for Artists dashboard, where they have the option to share information with their fans.
The information includes:
- Total minutes: The total number of minutes that people subscribed to Apple Music have listened to their music in 2024
- Total listeners: The total number of people subscribed to Apple Music who have listened to your music in 2024
- Top cities: The cities where their music is most listened to
- Shazam's Top Song: The song that has been discovered the most times this year on Shazam
Replay information is available to all eligible artists with an Apple Music for Artists . They can and share videos and images from the iOS and web apps.

Apple Music has announced its 2024 charts, which celebrate the year's biggest hits by Apple Music streams, Shazam searches, radio airplay, lyric searches and more. 2024 was a historic year in many ways, as more women than ever before made their mark on the year-end global song chart, international genres reached new heights and many of the top spots went to newcomers to the year-end charts.
The number 1 song on the Top Songs of 2024 is Kendrick Lamar's 'Not Like Us', which in 2024 became the rapper's biggest hit to date on Apple Music. Behind 'Not Like Us' come songs from three newcomers to the year-end global songs chart. The best year for women in the history of the global song list
39 songs on the Top Songs of 2024: Global list feature the signature or collaboration of artists who identify as women, the best year for them in the seven-year history of the list. Sabrina Carpenter's 'Espresso' ranks third and is the most successful track of the year on Apple Music globally by an artist who identifies as female. It is one of only two female tracks to make the top five, as Taylor Swift's 'Cruel Summer' is in fifth position. With seven tracks on the year-end global songs list, Taylor Swift is the artist with the most entries, only behind Drake and Morgan Wallen, who have eight each. Taylor is followed by SZA, tied with six tracks with Future, who with 'Snooze' has climbed to number 11, two places behind Billie Eilish's 'Birds of a Feather'.

Debutants dominate the 2024 global Shazam chart. Benson Boone is number one with 'Beautiful Things' thanks to his record-breaking worldwide Shazam searches. He is followed by 'Lose Control', one of two songs to make the list from Shazam-discovered artist Teddy Swims. The top five are dominated by newcomers to the year-end charts: FloyyMenor and CrisMJ's breakthrough single 'Gata Only' is in third place, followed by Australian DJ and producer CYRIL's remix of Disturbed's 'The Sound of Silence', and 'i like the way you kiss me' by songwriter and producer Artemas
Dua Lipa tops Shazam's first year-end global radio airplay chart
Apple Music's year-end lists now include the Top on Shazam Radio: Global, which takes advantage of Shazam's ability to identify what's playing on more than 40,000 traditional and digital stations worldwide. Dua Lipa is the undisputed leader of this list. In addition to occupying the top spot with 'Houdini', she also holds the record for entries, with a total of six. Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran are tied for second place with four tracks each, followed by Sabrina Carpenter, who has three. Pop leads the list with 54 tracks, but country has also made a strong showing, with Beyonce's 'TEXAS HOLD 'EM', Shaboozey's 'A Bar Song (Tipsy)' and Dasha's 'Austin (Boots Stop Workin')' in the top 20.
