The last final he played in a 'Grand Slam' was at Roland Garros last year, in which he lost to Carlos Alcaraz 6-3, 2-6, 5-7, 6-1 and 6-2.

It will be the seventh time that Sinner and Zverev have faced each other. The balance is in favor of the German, who has beaten his rival four times. However, the Italian has the last victory between the two, in the semifinals of the Cincinnati tournament, which he won in a hard-fought match 7-6(9), 5-7 and 7-6(4).
