MMA fans booed Logan Paul and KSI when they came up on the bring screen during UFC 284. The two men travelled to Australia a few weeks after reaching a deal with UFC for their hydration drink, Prime, to become an official sponsor of the promotion company.
Australian fans booed Paul and KSI after Jack Della Maddelena grabbed a first-round submission victory over Randy Brown.
"Makes me proud to be an Australian," a posted on social media.
Another amused viewer wrote: "LMAO Logan Paul & KSI getting booed by the Aussie crowd."
Earlier this month, the UFC released a statement to announce that Prime has become their official global sports drink after striking a deal with the duo, with Paul expressing his excitement.
"I've been a fan of UFC for as long as I can ," Paul noted.
"So having the opportunity to partner with them and amplify the PRIME brand is a check off the bucket list.
"Together, we are a global powerhouse and this collaboration is sure to extend far beyond the Octagon with an opportunity to give back in the process with the UFC Foundation."
As for KSI, he claimed that this collaboration allows his brand to "tap into UFC's fan base and reach a massive global audience across multiple platforms. Giving us the ability to flex our marketing muscles and prove we are a dominating force in the industry."
