- UFC. Khabib Nurmagomedov Net Worth: How much money did the UFC star make in his career?
- UFC. Conor McGregor just became $1 million richer thanks to Spain's Euro 2024 triumph
Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov have incredibly bad blood that was evident right after the Russian champion made Conor tap before a battle broke outside of the octagon. Khabib wanted retribution against Dillon Danis, who was on Conor McGregor's side. After nearly 6 years, the UFC is starting to give us some clues of what could be a rematch between these two. The first clue was in the form of a video they released with no commentary about the fight, it was evident Khabib got on McGregor's head during that fight. But the second clue is even more exciting because it's coming from a UFC veteran who has inside information about the sport.
Khabib vs Conor 2 might be in the cards
this is coming from Chael Sonnen, the former UFC star who currently has a show on YouTube. He teased a potential Khabib return by stating the following: "So you also didn't do it just to do it. Here are your two options: Khabib versus Conor is more of a thought than some people realized, or-and you have the other one-but these are your two options. Khabib versus Conor, as unlikely as it might be, is more of a topic than we knew. Things have changed, or McGregor's not coming back. But there's not a third option. Just so you understand, this did not get released and edited first, which is unprecedented to go against the guy that's still under contract. That simply did not happen."
The reason we say there is still bad blood between Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov is very simple. In recent weeks, the Irish fighter revealed that a raid was conducted in Khabib's gym as the Russian authorities were looking for a man who trained there and was considered a terrorist by the state. McGregor reignited the flame and spit out some nasty vitriol against Khabib. That right there cold be the reason the undefeated fighter might be considering a return. Keep in mind that at 29-0, Nurmagomedov decided to retire because there was nobody at his level. At 35years old, he ssems a bit veteran but he can definitely still put on a show.
