Amid so much dodging fights due to his very busy life, Irish UFC legend legend Conor McGregor appears to have lost his opponent as he is fed up for waiting so long. Michael Chandler has been linked to a fight against Conor McGregor since he called the legend out right after that unreal face kick KO against Tony Ferguson. But since then, the public has only been teased with this fight with no official date set after Conor suffered a pinky toe injury right before their June date. Now, something happened that has pushed Michael Chandler over the edge to the point where is is giving up completely. Instead, he prefers fighting other opponents because there seems to be no good news in the horizon for this fight.

What did Michael Chandler say?

It took a tweet for the world to know that Michael Chandler is just as fed up as the rest of us with Conor McGregor's antics and constant public displays while we all wait for him to take the fighting game sriously again. Chandler seems to have understood that it is never going to happen. Fighters like him are directly dependant on their age and this man already waited two years without a single fight while he hoped for Conor to get his act together. Chandler wrote this on X: "Nevermind guys...I think it's time I finally it the fight is off. He's still in stage 2 of the 7 of grief pertaining to his career being over. Figured he'd be closer to 5 by now. Godspeed, Conor McGregor."

People are wondering what made Michael Chandler change his tune after so many times saying he believed the fight would happen. Well, the latest images of Conor McGregor partying like there is no tomorrow while he stays on point with his training regiment seems to be what did it. The main issue here is that Michael Chandler risked waiting this much time while he expected Conor to get serious and that never happened. Part of this responsibility is Michael Chandler's as well. Conor initially responded by calling out Max Holloway but he deleted his tweet. Although Chandler seems to be out, the one who has the last call on that could be Dana White and not him.
