What time is UFC 305 Du Plessis vs Adesanya? TV Channel and schedule for tonight's big fight

The UFC machine never stops, and after the recent UFC Fight Night 95 in Las Vegas where Serghei Spivac secured a decisive first-round submission victory over Marcin Tybura, the next big event is just one day away with UFC 305.

Tomorrow's main event will feature a highly anticipated showdown between Dricus du Plessis and Israel Adesanya for the middleweight championship. This event is set to take place at the RAC Arena in Perth, Australia, this Saturday, August 17.

Dricus du Plessis, the reigning champion, will defend his title against the former champion and current No. 2 contender, Israel "The Last Stylebender" Adesanya, in a five-round bout. This marks UFC's third visit to Perth, Australia, but the first since UFC 284 in February 2023.

Peter Kloczko, UFC Vice President for Australia and New Zealand, emphasized the significance of this event, stating, "All eyes will be on Perth with the most anticipated fight of the year headlining UFC 305.

"We are thrilled to secure and deliver marquee events for Australian fight fans with the biggest stars from our organization, while also providing an opportunity for our local talent to compete on home soil."

This fight will be historic as it is the first time that two fighters born in Africa will face off for a UFC championship. The South African Dricus du Plessis (21-2-0) is looking to extend his nine-fight winning streak with his first title defense at UFC 305.

However, he faces a tough challenge in the Nigerian Israel Adesanya (24-3-0), who is a former middleweight champion, having won the belt from Robert Whittaker at UFC 243 in 2019 and successfully defending it five times thereafter.
