An adrenaline-filled bout that combines the explosiveness of MMA and Brazilian jiu-jitsu (BJJ) is expected on Saturday's UFC Fight Night, Sept. 7 at UFC Apex in Las Vegas between Gilbert Burns and Sean Brady.

The Brazilian Burns and American Brady will square off at welterweight in the UFC Vegas 97 main event, in what is expected to be a grappling match in the octagon, with two similar styles, as both combine mixed martial arts with BJJ, which will have fans on the edge of their seats.

'Durinho' Burns was dominant in his division in BJJ with four world titles. He then made the jump to UFC in 2014, however, he didn't make a name for himself until 2019 when he made the step to 170 pounds.

However, in 2021 he failed in his attempt to become champion when he lost to Kamaru Usman, then took on the likes of Stephen Thompson, Jorge Masvidal and Khamzat Chimaev.

His opponent Sean Brady also has BJJ style in his repertoire. He started his UFC journey in 2019, and he is famous for being a submission specialist. He was on a good run until he succumbed to Belal Muhammad, but then he recovered and defeated Kelvin Gastelum, leaving him with a 6-1 record in UFC.
