Sean O'Malley is already looking ahead to new opportunities after his recent defeat to Merab Dvalishvili at UFC 306. Following UFC President Dana White's hint about the organization possibly venturing into the boxing world, O'Malley has become excited about what the future might hold.

White's announcement sent ripples through the combat sports world, and O'Malley is keen to be a part of this potential shift.

On a recent episode of his Timbo Suga Show on YouTube, O'Malley didn't hide his excitement over the news. He shared that the UFC's move into boxing aligns with his long-term plans, as he believes he still has five or six years left in his fighting career.

An opportunity for O'Malley

For O'Malley, this could be the perfect opportunity to make the transition from the octagon to the boxing ring, a dream that now feels closer to reality.

Interestingly, despite being known for his striking, O'Malley revealed a newfound appreciation for the wrestling side of MMA.

"Dana White said they've never committed to boxing, and when they commit to something, they go all in, 'and I'm all in on boxing.' Dude, that's exciting!," he said.

"I feel like I got five-six more good years in me. If UFC is going to do something with boxing, I would love to f***ing do that. That could be f***ing sick. Who knows?"

However, O'Malley isn't just eyeing potential boxing matchups-he's already getting involved in some crossover trash talk.

After his loss, boxing star Haney took a jab at O'Malley on social media, prompting the UFC star to fire back. O'Malley upped the ante, offering Haney a $1 million challenge to step into the octagon for a no-rules fight, complete with eye pokes allowed.

While Haney declined and proposed a more traditional boxing match, the exchange highlighted O'Malley's belief in MMA fighters' adaptability.
