Without much fuss. That's how Ilia Topuria (15-0) reacted to Conor McGregor's (22-6) attacks during the Marca Sport Weekend this past Saturday.
"He's messed up," Topuria commented after watching the video during an Instagram live session.
McGregor, who hosted his 'Bare Knuckle' event in Marbella over the weekend with great success, once again took shots at 'The Matador,' saying, "Ilia Topuria is not Spanish; I'm more Spanish than him."
Topuria, who is currently in Abu Dhabi with his team preparing for his fight against Max Holloway (26-7) on October 26, in his first title defense, made it clear that he's lost all interest in McGregor.
'The Notorious,' who hasn't fought in the UFC since his injury in 2021, saw his return (originally planned for June) delayed again due to physical issues.
McGregor still has two fights left on his UFC contract, but his return, tentatively slated for 2025, remains uncertain.
Topuria critical of McGregor
During the same Instagram live session, Topuria took the opportunity to speak about McGregor: "Conor was great in stand-up, but on the ground... his grappling was always terrible.
"I would beat him at his peak, anytime and anywhere. There's no comparison. Let him keep drinking whiskey.
"His career is over. It's impossible for us to have an official fight... But I invite him to sparring sessions in my next camp."
