Conor McGregor surprised us all when he used his X to announce that he was negotiating with important people in India for a boxing match against Logan Paul in that country.

Definitely no one was expecting this, as there was a little hope that he would return to the UFC Octagon in 2025. As time went on at the beginning of the year, the rumors grew more and more to the point that they were going to pay him $250 million dollars each, a crazy amount of money.

Unbelievable! Conor McGregor's MMA instincts take over in a soccer game

The last time the Irishman fought in the UFC was in July 2021 against Dustin Poirer, where he was defeated after suffering a broken left ankle. He was scheduled to fight Michael Chandler on the UFC 303 card, but the fight was canceled just 3 weeks before the event.

"The Notorious" broke his finger with an elbow in a training session, which was the reason he withdrew from the fight.

Logan Paul finally breaks his silence

WWE Superstar Logan Paul finally broke the ice and talked about the rumors on his Youtube channel: "If Conor McGregor wants to fight, we are running it. I mean, bro, it's an epic fight... It would be something I'd like. Step away from the WWE for a second to do", the content creator said on his channel.

The offer is unanswerable, as the younger Paul brother made it clear: "$250 million, bro. I got to take that. If Nick Khan matches that, I'm staying in WWE," he said.

Dana White the biggest reason this fight can't happen

That's right, the biggest obstacle to this boxing exhibition fight becoming a reality goes through the owner of the UFC, McGregor would be under contract with the MMA company and can't make this decision on his own, Logan Paul said: "I think he's trying to put pressure on Dana to make it happen because he's owned by the UFC," Logan added. "He can't do anything, let alone fight, without them knowing."

And is that a few days ago, Dana White flatly denied that this fight is a reality, even sees Conor returning to the UFC in the fall of 2025. It seems that if McGregor wants to take that $250 million he will have to convince the boss, but negotiations will continue.
