Ilia Topuria (16-0) did not take long to speak out after the important changes announced by Dana White in the UFC. The 'Matador' vacates his featherweight title to move up to the next division, lightweight. And he commented briefly... with an image that is worth a thousand words and a reference to one of the fashionable songs of this 2025.

"Not like us" or "no son como nosotros". Or in other words, the title of Kendrick Lamar's song that went viral after the American rapper's performance at the 2025 Super Bowl.

A phrase that was accompanied by a montage in which Ilia Topuria was seen dressed as a king, crowned and sitting on a throne adorned with dozens of roses. In the background, the flag of Spain and Georgia; and on the shoulder of the 'Matador', his UFC world champion belt.

The post quickly went viral (like everything the 'Matador' publishes) and at the time of writing this article it already has almost 350,000 'likes' and more than 4,000 comments

Now it remains to be seen what the UFC's next announcement will be... and whether it will be accompanied by the name of Topuria's opponent. Meanwhile, as we have published in MARCA, the number one plan is clear: an epic fight with Islam Makhachev (27-1). The Dagestani has yet to accept, but the idea is clear and the Spanish-Georgian wants to be champion at 155 pounds as well.
