- Boxing. Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul fight rules spark criticism
The boxing world is gearing up for a couple of very interesting fights taking place in the summer, one of these fights is Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson and it's happening on July 20. There is already a planned press event geraing up for the middle of May but both fighters have been doing public events for the past month at least. Each of them has been doing it differently and Jake Paul knows how to puch Mike tyson's buttons. One of these tactics is to become good friends or interact with some of his peers, especially the ones who were fighting at the same time Mike Tyson was. In the boxing community, 'Iron Mike' is an absolute legend due to his impressive career and also his wisdom.
Jake Paul links up with 'The Big Daddy'
Former Heavyweight champion Riddick 'Big Daddy' Bowe is one of Mike Tyson's contemporaries and he just posted a picture with Jake Paul. He has been good friends with Mike for decades and the fans were quick to call him out for posing for pictures with the 'Problem Child'. Bowe wrote a message that triggered many as he seemed to be on the fence for this fight. He writes: "@jonjon1000000 @jakepaul I don't like to ASK these types of questions, but since Media is asking me, I will ask many of you. I already KNOW. Who ya got? IRON MIKE or JAKE "Problem Child"? Bowe."
The reason Bowe is so relevant is because he managed to accomplish what Mike Tyson never could during his prime. When he was still active, Mike fought Evander Holyfield twice and lost both times. 'Big Daddy' is the only boxer in history who managed to defeat Holyfield twice when he was in his prime. In of their careers, Bowe definitely sured Mike Tyson but he is nowhere near as famous. Folks who didn't like him posing for this image with Jake Paul will surely not appreciate this other historical fact about their careers.
