If Jake Paul doesn't have any regrets about fighting Iron Mike Tyson yet, he might now as Joe Rogan declares the 58-year-old's mind has "switched over to war," and that he's eating raw meat as he prepares for their professional July 20 fight.

The ex-WBC heavyweight champion of the world was known for his no-nonsense approach to his boxing opponents, often minimizing the showmanship before going into the ring such as by having no walkout music and wearing plain black shorts.

Jake Paul mocks Mike Tyson before press conferences, is he taking the fight as a joke?

And he could be heading into that headspace again as he gets ready for his first professional scrap since 2005 when he faces the 27-year-old Paul, who is an ex-YouTuber who has now gone on to become pro himself.

"Mike Tyson's mind has switched over to war," Rogan said to 2148 JRE Episode. "Like he was doing this interview and someone says to him, he goes, 'You look like you're in your 20s. What are you doing?'

"He [Tyson] goes, 'I just eat raw meat...' He goes, 'Because that's what I'm going to eat when I fight.'

"He's in that God of War mode and he still got that in him. I'm telling you, if you keep giving that guy hormones and you keep giving that guy supplements, and you and he's constantly training [he could win]."

What does Jake Paul think?

This won't come as news to Paul however, who is aware that he's eating raw meat again and that there has been a shift in his mentality in the two months since the news of the fight, which will be streamed by Netflix, was announced to the world.

Known as The Problem Child, Paul deserves credit for fearing nobody himself as he has proven to be willing to take on any person as long as the price is right. That includes fighting Tyson Fury's younger brother, Tommy Fury, in 2023 in which he lost via unanimous decision but scored a knockdown.

Paul has itted he can't go into the same mental space as Tyson recently by stating that he won't be following the famous sex-ban that the legendary fighter imposes upon himself. Paul revealed to his brother ahead of that fight against Fury that he tried it, but it resulted in an unfortunate accident when he was asleep.
