As we near October, there are two huge boxing fights coming up that have most of every purist's attention. In the second week of October, Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol battle for light heavyweight supremacy. Then, in December, Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury take part in an undisputed heavyweight rematch.
Sandwiched in between those two, though, is the fight that will grab the attention of all casual fans. Mike Tyson and Jake Paul will finally square off on November 15, four months after when it was originally scheduled. Tyson's health scare over the summer seems to have faded away, as he's been consistently training and looks to be in great shape at the moment. The same can't be said for Paul, who has been showing off a massive belly in recent appearances.
Jake Paul keeps showing off a "belly" in videos
In a recent video, Paul shared a quote from Tyson from their press conference in the summer in which Tyson says that Paul is fat and not in his prime. While eating fried chicken, Paul says he's not fat and just getting ready for a heavyweight bout.
Obviously, it's all a joke. Paul is using some sort of fat suit as a marketing ploy. It's unclear exactly what his intentions are. No one believes that's the actual shape he's in, but he may just be trying to hide his current muscle build in order to confuse Tyson. It's probably not working, but at least he has content for social media.
Tyson appears to be laser-focused on the fight. Even when the two faced off at AT&T Stadium before a Dallas Cowboys game, Tyson was all business.
