Shakur Stevenson continues to push for a fight against Gervonta Davis, convinced that he is the better boxer. Although Stevenson sees it as one of the biggest fights of the moment, Davis shows no interest in facing him and simply rejects the idea of fighting Shakur.
According to various sources, pending official confirmation, Gervonta Davis will face Lamont Roach Jr. on August 16 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. This would be a rematch of their controversial draw in March, with some believing that Roach Jr. had been "robbed."
Meanwhile, Shakur is preparing to fight William Zepeda on July 12 in New York. However, he still has Gervonta on his mind. In fact, he mentioned Davis repeatedly after his press conference
