After one weekend off, Formula 1 is back this weekend. This time, the sport is heading to North America for the Canadian Grand Prix, where the 20 drivers will be speeding around the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve.
There will be 70 laps of the circuit in Montreal which, whilst not a street circuit, is situated very centrally in one of Canada's biggest cities.
It will be the home race for Aston Martin's Lance Stroll, but he is the only Canadian on the grid now.
When does the 2023 Canadian Grand Prix start?
The action is set to get underway on Friday, June 16 with Practice 1. That session takes place at 19:30 to 20:30 CEST, meaning it is 18:30 to 19:30 BST. In Montreal, that is 13:30 to 14:30 local time.
That session will be the first indicator of who has got the pace around this famous track, which is known for the amount of wildlife that can occasionally run across the asphalt.
Practice 2 is on the same day but a few hours later at 23:00 CEST / 22:00 BST / 17:00 local time.
The Practice 3 session is on Saturday, June 17 at 18:30 CEST / 17:30 BST / 12:30 local time, leading into the qualifying session.
That is where the real action begins as the drivers compete to take pole position, which is important in Canada given the very short run to the first sequence of corners.
Canada GP qualifying gets underway at 22:00 CEST / 21:00 BST / 16:00 local time on Saturday.
Finally, the main event will be on Sunday, as this is not a sprint weekend. You can tune in to watch the Canadian GP race at 20:00 CEST / 19:00 BST / 14:00 local time.
