- Celebrities. Lauren Sanchez reacts to comments about cleavage that caught Mark Zuckerberg's eye
There were plenty of stories and memes that emerged from Donald Trump's inauguration recently, and one of the biggest was the slightly revealing shirt that Lauren Sanchez chose to wear.
The partner of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos revealed a little bit of cleavage with the outfit and managed to upstage the incoming president of the United States of America, and that led to some serious backlash.
"Have some dignity and some respect for your setting in your circumstances," Megyn Kelly chastised. "No one should be talking about your t-ts. Sorry. They should be talking about the inauguration."
Comedian Whitney Cummings shared her humorous take on Sanchez's outfit during an Instagram commentary.
"I'm not gonna hate on her," Cummings began, praising Sanchez's boldness. "She is a businesswoman, and her decisions have gotten her this far."
However, Cummings couldn't resist poking fun at the lace element of the outfit, calling it "cheap-looking" despite likely being a high-end Dolce & Gabbana piece.
"We've all bought, like, a cute white lace bra and you take your shirt off and ... it always looks like you've been trafficked," she joked, adding that it often fails to translate well in photos.
Cummings also quipped about Sanchez's status as Jeff Bezos' fiancée, humorously suggesting, "She's with the head of Amazon, and she looked like she got that top on Temu."
Sanchez isn't interested
The second comment actually received a like from Sanchez who has supposedly taken the situation in her stride, and that suggestion is backed up by a friend who spoke to Page Six about Sanchez's reaction.
"Lauren just doesn't give a s-t," said one friend, "She does what she wants."
Adding fuel to the social media frenzy was a viral clip showing Zuckerberg seemingly caught glancing at Sanchez's chest during the event. The Meta CEO later "liked" a photo of her inaugural ball look, further amplifying the buzz.
