Despite threats from Florida officials, Andrew Tate is determined to remain in the state.
Recently, Governor Ron DeSantis publicly declared that Tate was not welcome in Florida, citing concerns about his behavior.
"Florida is not a place where you're welcome with that type of conduct," DeSantis said in a press conference.
"Our Attorney General, James Uthmeier, is looking into what state hooks and jurisdictions we have to deal with this. I don't know how it came to this. We were not involved. We were not notified. I found out through the media."
In response to DeSantis' comments, Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier revealed that Tate is under criminal investigation.
"I directed my office to work with our law enforcement partners to conduct a preliminary inquiry into Andrew and Tristan Tate," Uthmeier said.
"Based on a thorough review of the evidence, I've directed the Office of Statewide Prosecution to execute search warrants and issue subpoenas in the now-active criminal investigation into the Tate brothers."
Tate doesn't care about threat of legal action
However, despite the threats and investigations, Tate is unfazed. In fact, he plans to buy a lavish $44 million penthouse in Miami.
"Before the AG puts me in jail, I'm going to buy a $44 million penthouse... I'm going to buy a $44 million penthouse, put a new Bugatti in it, and we're all going to jail in Florida," Tate declared.
This comment follows a previous incident in which Tate called on Governor DeSantis to arrest him. His continued defiance only adds to his already controversial public persona.
In addition to his issues with Florida, Tate is facing a lawsuit in California. His ex-girlfriend, Bri Stern, has accused him of battery and assault, adding another layer of legal trouble to his already complicated situation.
As Tate moves forward with his plans in Florida, the legal battles continue to loom over him. Whether his intentions to stay in the state will be successful remains to be seen, but for now, Tate remains determined to push forward, regardless of the consequences.
