Coldplay's Chris Martin has recently declared that he is following a very strict eating regime where he only eats once a day, because of Bruce Springsteen's advice about intermittent fasting which has been proven to bring great health benefits.
Chris Martin claims Intermittent fasting is key for a healthy lifestyle
Chris Martin recently visited Conan O'Brien's podcast, "Conan O'Brien Needs a Friend" and mentioned what he does to stay healthy. "I actually don't have dinner anymore, I stop eating at [4:00 p.m.] and I learned that from having lunch with Bruce Springsteen."
He elaborated, "I was lucky enough to go over there to lunch the day after we played Philadelphia last year. I was on a really strict diet anyway. But I was like, 'Bruce looks even more in shape than me,' and [Springsteen's wife] Patti said he's only eating one meal a day. I was like, 'Well, there we go. That's my next challenge.'"
Martin did not go into details about what kind of meals he normally has, to what O'Brien replied "giant vat of beef chili" to which Martin also quipped "flank of buffalo with a steroid sauce."

According to Healthline, intermittent fasting "is an eating pattern where people limit their food consumption to certain hours of the day. Some research suggests that it may have benefits beyond weight loss, like improved brain and heart health."
Whatever The Boss says, goes, according to people close to him, he is keen on having a strict diet to stay as healthy as possible and also works out frequently to be able to perform for over three hours while being 73 years old.
