We know that Colombian superstar Shakira would do anything to make her fans happy, but everybody has their limit. As she shook her hips on stage, Shakira was left with no choice but to end the show when she witnessed the disgusting actions of someone with a camera in the front row.

Shakira walks off stage during video shoot

Shakira was reportedly filming a music video for her new single Soltera featuring Anitta, when the incident occurred. She could be seen in the video wagging her finger at someone in the crowd outside of the frame and pulling her dress down to cover up.

At first, she continued to dance and ignore the behavior. When she noticed it again, Shakira took the most extreme measure she could in the situation, shutting down the whole production and walking off the stage. It was a justified reaction to the person who was allegedly pointing the camera up her dress from the front row.

Social media's vicious blame game

Although the last resort reaction undoubtedly disappointed some of Shak's fans at the performance, those on social media understood the need for her course of action.

"People are GROSS," wrote a on X who published the video, which generated over 9 million views on the social media platform.

Others took note of a woman in the crowd who checked on the artist to see if she was okay. It displayed the understanding between women who often find themeselves in uncomfortable situations around men.

Although the comments were flooded with contrarians blaming Shakira for what she was wearing and the way she was dancing, many displayed sympathy to show that she was not alone: "shakira cant even enjoy and dance to her OWN song."

Regardless of who is to blame, Shakira's fans will feel the impact of her decision to walk off the stage; the Soltera music video may now be delayed.
