Discussed plans for the service

Kate Middleton will go ahead with her annual carol service after finishing her chemotherapy treatment

Kate Middleton is preparing for her annual Christmas carol service, following her recent completion of chemotherapy treatment in early September. The Princess of Wales has confirmed that the event will take place in December and be broadcast on U.K. television on Christmas Eve.

On September 24, Middleton held a meeting at Windsor Castle with her team from Kensington Palace and the Royal Foundation to discuss plans for the service. It's anticipated that she and her family-Prince William and their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis-will attend the carol service at Westminster Abbey.

This marks the fourth time Middleton will host the event, which she uses to bring attention to causes and charities close to her and William's hearts. The recent meeting was officially recorded in the royal court circular, signaling Kate's ongoing involvement in royal duties as she continues to recover.

Charitable work

In addition to planning for the holidays, Middleton recently met with her Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood team on September 17 to review progress on her initiatives. These two meetings mark her first official public duties since undergoing cancer treatment, although she has been actively working behind the scenes.

Middleton has expressed her eagerness to gradually return to public engagements, with the carol service and the possibility of ing King Charles for the U.K.'s Remembrance Day ceremony in November among the events she may attend.

Despite a lighter schedule, the princess remains committed to her charitable work as she balances recovery with royal responsibilities.
