Democrat state senator Tiara Mack made headlines recently when she ed a video to TikTok where she was twerking upside-down at a Rhode Island beach wearing a very revealing bikini to promote her reelection campaign as a state senator.

They did not take it positively

As you'd imagine, the 28-year-old received a lot of backlashes from both democrats and republicans for trying very different campaigning methods; which she nonchalantly and clearly responded to the naysayers that they were just 'attacking a young, energetic person who is filled with joy.'

Governor Dan McKee was negatively flabbergasted

Tiara Mack has made history as being the first black openly gay woman to enter the Rhode Island legislature in January of 2021, and now she is making history again for being the first senator to be openly proud of her twerk game.

Even with all the negative comments, she believes that will not affect her campaign in a bad way since she has been unapologetic since before she became a congresswoman.

They don't care about policy

She was interviewed by the local ABC News and stated that "These are folks who don't care about policy. They care about attacking a young, energetic person who is filled with joy, and undeterred by their hate.'

She got elected saying the F word

She also added that she was "elected saying the "F-word" as an unapologetically queer woman. This is the same person that was elected in 2020 who is going to lead with empathy, comion, love, and silliness.'
