Anthony Rendon is clear from all charges over the quarrel he got into with a fan after the Angels visited the A's a few days ago.

The investigation was to rule whether he was going to be charged with assault or not after the aggressive behavior he had with an A's fan where the third baseman pulled the fan by the jersey and continued screaming at his face.

In the police documents, the investigators were looking into having Rendon filed for a misdemeanor assault and misdemeanor battery if there were any charges from the victim, however, when the victim did not come forward, the charges were dropped.

Oakland Police Department reported cero charges pressed

However, a representative from the OPD mentioned that if the reported victim came closer, the case would be reopened and Rendon could still be on the line for the aforementioned charges.

Now that the OPD has cleared Rendon, the next consequences he must face will be from the MLB directly as he will be facing an unmentioned sanction as the presented behavior goes against the MLB's guidelines.

Rendon was also interviewed by the media over the altercation a few days later and he had the perfect answer for the controversy, saying that he could not disclose any details about the incident due to being an 'open investigation'.
