Saturday's College Football schedule will feature a battle between two undefeated teams, as the Nebraska Cornhuskers play host the Colorado Buffaloes.

The Huskers cruised to victory in their opening game thanks to the play of freshman quarterback Dylan Raiola, who threw for two touchdowns in his college career in a 40-7 win over UTEP.

The blowout allowed Nebraska to play a lot of their backups, which wasn't the case for Colorado, as their game against North Dakota State went down to the wire.

Although the Buffaloes were big favourites, they were made to sweat it out, winning 31-26. Star quarterback Shedeur Sanders finished the game with four touchdowns, three of which went to Travis Hunter.

Former rivals set to square off

The two former conference rivals will now renew their rivalry in Lincoln on Saturday, but unfortunately for Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders, ESPN isn't picking his side to win.

According to ESPN's Analytics, Nebraska has a 60.4 percent chance to win. Nebraska holds the all-time lead in the series with a 49-21-2 record, which included a nine-game winning streak from 1992 to 2000.

However, Colorado has won each of the last three meetings between the teams dating back to 2018.

Along with an undefeated start to the season, a place in the AP Top 25 is also likely on the line given both teams earned votes in the recent poll.

Last year's game was a one-sided encounter, with Colorado cruising to a 36-14 victory. It was one of three straight wins to start the season, though the Buffaloes slowed down after that, finishing with a record of 4-8.
