- NCAAF. Deion Sanders not happy after Nebraska's brutal beating over Colorado
- NCAAF. NIU head coach overcome with emotion after historic upset win over Notre Dame
Coach Prime and his Colorado Buffaloes team already have their first loss of the 2024/25 NCAA season and Dylan Raiola showed them no sympathy by rubbing salt into Shedeur Sanders' wounds.
The Nebraska Cornhuskers produced a 28-10 victory over the Buffaloes at the Memorial Stadium on Saturday, September 7 as both quarterbacks offered strong performances but the Patrick Mahomes-inspired Raiola won out.
Throwing for 185 yards and a touchdown from 23 completions out of 30 attempts, Raiola got the win ahead of Sanders' 23/38 for 244 yards and one touchdown effort and whilst Sanders impressed, the final score is the only thing that counts.
Raiola then enjoyed the win by copying Mahomes' signature victory celebration in a post by Will Compton, ex-Washington Commanders, on X.com which was formerly known as Twitter, earning 17,000 likes.
The 19-year-old from Arizona has been noted as a five-star recruit but has also attracted attention for his eerily similar playing style to the Kansas City Chiefs' Mahomes as well as his off-field dress sense replicating the three-time Super Bowl champion.
The Cornhuskers' quarterback has also made it no secret that he wants to copy Mahomes' style in a bid to land a draft pick by the Chiefs, potentially as soon as the 2025 NFL Draft, to serve as a strong back up and future leader.
