As always, Saturday is for College GameDay, led by the energetic Pat McAfee. This week, the crew is in Austin for the highly anticipated matchup between the No. 5 Georgia Bulldogs and the No. 1 Texas Longhorns at DKR-Texas Memorial Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET, and this game is shaping up to be one of the most exciting of the season. The Longhorns have dominated this year and are the top-ranked team and one of five undefeated teams in the top 12, the top 12 ranked teams entering the playoffs. The Georgia Bulldogs, who have already suffered one dramatic loss this season, could drop out of the top 10 with a loss, so the importance and parity of this game will make it one of the best games of the year.

Nick Saban Ignites the Crowd with Motivational Speech

During a segment discussing undefeated teams, the crew asked former Alabama coach Nick Saban to deliver a motivational speech. Saban didn't disappoint, inspiring the crowd and proving once again why he's the winningest coach in college football history. Saban had the entire crowd on fire, especially Pat McAfee, proving that the motivational part is something that has served him well throughout his successful career as the winningest coach in college football history. His message was simple yet powerful: focus on being the best you can be, no matter the circumstances.

Saban's speech, literally dedicated to "nothing", is an exhortation to do something every day, to not stay in your comfort zone, to face the day with whatever consequences it may have, and in this case for undefeated teams like the Longhorns, "nothing is more important than staying focused on being the best you can be, no matter what you choose to do". If there is one thing Saban knows how to do it is win and here he was giving the speech in a suit and on national television so he held back but imagine what his speeches must have been like as a coach, this is just a taste but it was enough to fire up the fans who were once again in their thousands at college football's number 1 show.

Georgia vs Texas Preview

Georgia has dominated college football since winning back-to-back national championships in the 2021 and 2022 seasons. However, after falling just short of the College Football Playoff last season and losing to Alabama a few weeks ago, the Bulldogs are no doubt anxious for a chance to face the team that took the No. 1 spot from them for so long. The Longhorns have been dominant this season, winning their six games by a combined score of 259-38, are one of 11 undefeated teams in college football and are coming off a dominant 31-point win over Oklahoma that heralded the return of quarterback Quinn Ewers.

Meanwhile, the Georgia offence will be a stern test for Texas as the Bulldogs return 16 starters from last year's 12-1 team, including quarterback Carson Beck, who enters the game with 1,818 yards ing, 15 touchdowns and five interceptions. This matchup between two college football powerhouses is sure to be a classic. Don't miss it!
