It's almost time for the Fiesta Bowl as one of the United States' most enjoyed aspects of the College Football Playoffs hits television sets on December 31 between the Boise State Broncos and Penn State Nittany Lions, but how much will the winner get in prize money?
The game will be hosted at State Farm Stadium, which is home to the NFL's Arizona Cardinals and will mark the 54th edition of the game since it was introduced all the way back in 1971 for Mountain West sides.

So Glendale will welcome the 12-1 Broncos, spearheaded by running back Ashton Jeanty, to take on the 12-2 Nittany Lions, led by quarterback Drew Allar, in what promises to be an exciting game live on ESPN.
The Nittany Lions beat the SMU Mustangs in the First Round of the College Football Playoffs to tee up the clash with the Broncos, who themselves beat the UNLV Rebels in the Mountain West Championship game.
Kick-off will take place from 20:30 ET/17:30 PT, which is 18:30 local time in Arizona. Fans can stream the game via ESPN's app, or by FuboTV.
How much does the Fiesta Bowl winner get in prize money?
The winner of the Fiesta Bowl between the Boise State Broncos and Penn State Nittany Lions will earn a minimum of $10 million dollars, which could range as high as $25m depending on other factors.
The prize money received by the winner of the game is rarely published in detail, but it is known they will receive a break-down of $10m dollars if they make it to the CFP semifinals. 2009 saw the Fiesta Bowl pay $17m, which adjusted for inflation is $25m in 2024.
