?Harvard football player Seamus Gilmartin and viral sorority girl Lily Stewart found themselves in hot water over the weekend after being arrested on the University of Georgia (UGA) campus.

Authorities caught the 20-year-old tight end and his group inside a student center after hours, leading to multiple charges and a two-year ban from the campus for Gilmartin.

Attempted escape and fake IDs

?According to police reports, officers responded to an intrusion alarm at the UGA student center around 3 AM Sunday morning. Upon spotting law enforcement, Gilmartin and the others allegedly tried to flee but were quickly apprehended.

During the arrest, officers discovered two fake IDs on Gilmartin-one from New York and another from California-both deemed fraudulent. As a result, he was charged with underage possession of alcohol, loitering/prowling, and possession of a fake ID.

Lily Stewart's second arrest in weeks

?Stewart, who recently went viral for her mugshot after a separate speeding violation, was also taken into custody. This time, she was charged with loitering/prowling and obstruction of a law enforcement officer.

Reports indicate she attempted to evade police, later telling officers that she ran because she was already out on bond.

A growing online spectacle

?Stewart's previous arrest made headlines after she was caught driving 84 mph in a 55 mph zone, grinning in her now-infamous mugshot. Since then, she has gained significant online attention, with numerous social media s flooding her inbox.

While Gilmartin's legal troubles may not generate the same level of viral fame, his involvement in the incident has raised questions about potential repercussions at Harvard.

Harvard remains silent

?As of now, Harvard University has not issued a statement regarding Gilmartin's arrest. Requests for comment from both the university and the athlete have gone unanswered.

With both individuals now facing legal consequences, it remains to be seen how this latest scandal will unfold.
