The LSU gymnastics team is headed back to the NCAA Championships, and while the athletes dazzled on the mat, it was Julz Dunne, sister of LSU star Livvy Dunne, who caught plenty of attention off it.
With a commanding victory in the NCAA Penn State Regional Final, LSU secured its spot in the national championship meet in Fort Worth, Texas, beginning April 17.
The win follows an electric performance at the SEC Championships two weeks prior, where the Tigers celebrated in style-literally and figuratively.
Livvy Dunne, one of the most high-profile names in college athletics and a social media powerhouse, has been sidelined for two months due to a knee injury.
That hasn't stopped the Dunne family energy from being felt loud and clear, thanks to her sister Julz, who has become a viral sensation in her own right.
From cheerleader to viral icon: Julz leads the sidelines
After LSU clinched the regional title, Julz took to Instagram with a celebratory post that quickly went viral. Captioning her slideshow of energetic photos, she wrote: "cool, calm, chill, and back to the chip."
The images told a different story-one filled with Tiger pride, bold energy, and infectious enthusiasm.
Even LSU star Aleah Finnegan jumped into the comments with, "GET LIT," while Livvy herself responded with a fired-up, "LFGGGG."
Julz has made it a habit of matching her sister's fame with her own unique flair. Whether she's donning a golden LSU cowgirl outfit at meets or photobombing celebration pics in the most eye-catching ways possible, she's become a standout figure in the Tigers' extended crew.
Back in March, she trended on social media for her St. Patrick's Day ensemble-another instance where her bold LSU spirit shone through.
With the NCAA finals just around the corner, fans are eager to see if Julz will accompany the team to Fort Worth for the Tigers' shot at back-to-back titles.
Given her past appearances, it's safe to say that if she's there, she'll bring the same infectious energy-and possibly another viral outfit.
