- NCAA. Deion Sanders considered main culprit in Shedeur's draft disaster: "Nobody wanted to give him the truth"
Arelationship between a 73-year-old man and 24-year-old woman was always going to be seen in a judgmental light. Even more so when that man is one of the most notable figures in NFL history. Whether Bill Belichick wants it or not, his relationship with Jordon Hudson is at risk of being taken advantage at any moment.
This week has been an absolute whirlwind that not even Belichick could have ever imagined, though. A painfully awkward clip from an interview with CBS has Hudson in the media spotlight for all of the wrong reasons. Although Belichick has come out to defend Hudson, who was doing her job as his publicist, fans couldn't help but opine that Hudson was overly controlling. They think Belichick is under her influence. While Belichick doesn't think that, that interview moment is not the first of its kind.
Jordon Hudson forced her way into Ben Affleck's Super Bowl commercial
Back when Ben Affleck's high-profile Dunkin' ment video came out during the Super Bowl, Belichick appeared and even had a line in it. Hudson was right beside Belichick for the ad, although she didn't have any lines. A report from ESPN's Pablo Torre revealed that Hudson used her newfound power as Belichick's "de facto agent" to force her way into the commercial.
She's the person who you need to go through to book Bill Belichick for a Super Bowl commercial or for the other commitments he has as a multi-platform personality. She's the gateway. So in this case, what I have been told reliably, is that Jordon happened to then use that power to be in the commercial as well.
So Hudson has been using her influence over Belichick to get her way since before the Super Bowl. Belichick and Hudson obviously have a personal and working relationship, so it makes sense for the famous head coach to try to help her in any way. But it's starting to sound like she's taking things a step too far.
