Jordon Hudson is choosing confidence and wit over criticism as she continues to embrace her relationship with former New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick, recently teasing haters as they headed for dinner.

The 24-year-old former cheerleader shared a playful photo on May 21 that directly addressed the 48-year age difference between her and the 73-year-old football legend, signaling that she has no interest in appeasing detractors.

The young woman and Belichick are seen enjoying a quiet waterfront dinner at sunset in a photo posted to her Instagram Stories, Plated in front of them are chicken wings and dipping sauce, flanked by a can of Old Bay seasoning, a visual that inspired her bold caption.

"Old Bay with my old bae," Hudson wrote, in a tongue-in-cheek comment that mocked the persistent public fixation on their age gap, delivering a message of light-hearted defiance.

Hudson later posted the same photo to her main Instagram feed, where responses ranged from amused to critical as fans responded on the Mark Zuckerberg owned app.

One commented, "Unhinged."

Whilst a second sarcastically added, "'thi$ i$ love.'"

A third noted, "ppl hate on them so obsessively when they're just out and about doing this lmao y'all they dgaf."

Hudson and Belichick ignore critical eyes

The connection between the pair dates back to 2021, when they met on a flight from Boston to Florida and exchanged details following a talk about psychology and philosophy.

Yet the relationship reportedly didn't turn romantic until 2023, whilst their public debut came a year later in June 2024, setting off a wave of media interest in the ex-New England Patriots coach's love life.

Sadly, the scrutiny has only intensified as the couple's visibility has grown and is showing signs of wear on the couple when Hudson accompanied Belichick to an interview with CBS News Sunday Morning, where the coach was promoting his memoir.

Despite remaining off-camera, Hudson made her presence felt when journalist Tony Dokoupil asked about the origins of their relationship, a line of questioning she wasted no time silencing as she said, "We're not talking about this."

The football personality, for his part, responded to the media attention with characteristic calm. Of course, if he couldn't remain composed in the face of public pressure then he wouldn't be a six-time Super Bowl champion.

"I've never been too worried about what everyone else thinks," Belichick told CBS. "I just try to do what I feel like is best for me, and what's right."

While some reports, including a New York Times article published on May 20, claim that Hudson has told others the two are engaged, neither has officially confirmed the status of their relationship.

Regardless, Hudson largely appears unfazed by public judgment. Her recent post is emblematic of a larger approach: confronting societal expectations with humor and standing firm in her personal choices.
