As is now customary in the National Football League (NFL), a new story has emerged featuring Aaron Rodgers as the main character. The former New York Jets quarterback (who s the Steelers this season) explained the strange reason why he refrains from using wired headphones and avoids Bluetooth-enabled ones.

It's worth noting that the Pennsylvania franchise is still keeping a close eye on the veteran quarterback, hoping to see how he behaves and how he feels about the team in the coming weeks. If things don't work out, management is already considering looking for a replacement for 2025.

Aaron Rodgers is not very welcome inside the Steelers Nation

Why doesn't Aaron Rodgers wear Bluetooth headphones?

Rodgers showed he's been around the league for a while by arriving at a game wearing wired headphones. They're a tool and a device that has largely disappeared thanks to the advent of Bluetooth. But there's a deeper reason behind the decision, and it all ties back to a conspiracy theory he believes in.

In a conversation with Zach Wilson in 2023, Rodgers said that EMF emissions from Bluetooth devices and AirPods are harmful to the brain. "They were making fun of you for the headphones you were wearing," Wilson told Rodgers. "You mean the ones that protect my brain from harmful electromagnetic emissions?, Rodgers responded.
