In 2023, he led the Southeastern Conference (SEC) with five interceptions, including two pick-sixes in a single game against Vanderbilt. Although he played only seven games in 2024, Hairston still managed to record a pick-six, four deflections, two forced fumbles, 19 tackles, and a sack.
