Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's romance has dominated headlines and lit up stadiums for more than a year and a half, cementing them as one of the most high-profile power couples in both sports and pop culture. But according to former New England Patriots stars Rob Gronkowski and Julian Edelman, it may be time for the duo to take their relationship to a whole new level: parenthood.
On the latest episode of their Dudes on Dudes podcast, the Super Bowl-winning duo playfully weighed in on Swift and Kelce's future.
"They gotta have a kid... The kid would be performing: 8 catches a game and then doing the halftime show," Gronkowski joked, suggesting a hypothetical child that would be a blend of elite athleticism and musical brilliance.
While said in jest, the idea of Swift and Kelce starting a family has been floated before. In February, Page Six reported that Kelce's inner circle-including his parents Donna and Ed, and older brother Jason Kelce-are enthusiastic about the relationship and would be ive of them taking that next step.
"They've never seen Travis so happy with a girlfriend before," a source told the outlet. "Their families blend seamlessly. They feel like Taylor has a heart of gold."

Swift has been a consistent and visible presence throughout Kelce's last two NFL campaigns. In 2023, the global pop star attended 13 games, starting with the Chiefs' Week 3 matchup against the Chicago Bears.
That season, the Chiefs went 10-3 with Swift in attendance and finished it off with a thrilling overtime win against the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII, becoming the first team to repeat as champions since the Patriots in 2004.
Her appearances dipped slightly in 2024, with Swift attending 10 games total (seven regular season and three postseason). Still, the Chiefs maintained a strong 9-1 record in those contests-until the Super Bowl. In a stunning upset, Kansas City fell 40-22 to the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX, dashing their hopes of an NFL-first three-peat.
