It comes with the territory of being the most notable analyst in the NFL, and coming off of a historic career in which many haters were developed, but Tom Brady has been criticized practically all season for his performance as a color commentator. So everyone was eager to see how Brady would do calling his first-ever Super Bowl.
While Patrick Mahomes chased Brady's records on the field, Brady did a good job keeping his composure throughout the broadcast. But what stood out to fans more than anything was the watch he had on: a gold standout that costs $740,000.
Tom Brady's gold watch made by Jacob and Co.
According to a report from Page Six, the watch is from famous jeweler Jacob & Co. It contains "338 baguette- and rose-cut yellow sapphires totaling nearly 49 carats, along with 338 brilliant-cut diamonds". It's called a "Caviar Tourbillon in Yellow Sapphires".
While Brady stunted on everyone with his watch, he also watched Mahomes come up short in the Super Bowl. Mahomes was looking to capture his fourth ring at just 29 years old, but he will continue to be four rings way from reaching Brady's incredible seven titles.
